Besides serving local churches, he has served with the Mississippi Baptist Convention and with the Baptist Sunday School Board. Keith is author of numerous magazine articles. He is an outstanding conference leader, often featured at Ridgecrest and Glorieta Conference centers.

In his career with LifeWay, he has served as a consultant to children’s workers, an internal consultant to LifeWay employees and managers, a conference leader, and as the director of church media library.
